ASTM resistance test

Monokote® has undergone strict ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) tests and has respected and complied with all the performance-related parameters recommended in the following tests:
• resistance to penetration in the event of impact
• resistance to abrasion
• resistance to product shocks
• test to assess adhesion to support
• test to assess deformation of support
• test to assess air erosion
In each of these tests, Monokote® demonstrated excellent resistance to mechanical stress and optimal adhesion and cohesion to the structural support.

These characteristics ensure the building against even minimal accidents, detachments or lacerations of the fire-resistant plaster and guarantee the uniformity and effectiveness in time of the system of structure’s passive protection against fire.
